What we did with it: this page answers “better than Sistrix” job by job, prices everything in dollars, adds the API and AI alternatives searchers ask for, and counts which SEO tools AI assistants actually recommend.

Rankfender tracks what AI assistants answer to our customers’ questions. We took the 110 answers (8 assistants, Jan – Oct 2026) to questions about SEO tools that named no tool themselves, and counted which tools each answer mentions.

What it means: AI assistants answering in English barely know Sistrix: 1 answer in 110, about the same as us (2%). XOVI and Seobility, its German rivals, never appeared. A US prospect asking an assistant for an SEO tool hears Semrush and Ahrefs. 110 answers isn’t a market survey; these are the questions our customers track, mostly English-language B2B and SaaS.

Sistrix’s price depends on how many people log in, whether you need the API and how much history you want. Three real set-ups, priced on monthly billing from each vendor’s pricing page on 28 Oct 2026. Sistrix in USD at the ECB rate of 27 Oct 2026, without VAT (non-EU company).

Sistrix converted to dollars at $1.115 per euro (ECB, 27 Oct 2026), net of VAT; EU businesses without a VAT ID pay 19% German VAT, and card issuers may add a foreign-transaction fee. Sistrix adds users at about $27.76 from Plus. Semrush seats from $45 ($80 on Pro+); Ahrefs $40 / $60 / $80 by plan; SE Ranking from $16. XOVI prices are the dollar prices on its English page; 19% VAT applies where due. Annual billing lowers every figure by 10–25% (Sistrix: 17–25%, with a 12-month term).

   Once you cancel, Sistrix deletes your projects, rankings, crawls and reports “after a short period of waiting time”. Export them as CSV first. Exports use your weekly credits, which reset every Monday, so a large export may take two weeks.

   The help page says you can cancel “until the end of the current billing period”; the terms say “to the end of the next billing period”, in text form. Cancel under Subscriptions as early as you can and keep the confirmation.

   No other tool uses Sistrix’s keyword set. Serpstat’s Visibility and XOVI’s OVI work the same way on different samples and scales. Note the Visibility Index of your domain and three competitors on day one; the free check keeps working.

Sistrix data in ChatGPT or Claude

Sistrix’s MCP server is now open to every plan, Start included, and uses no API credits. If you only want to ask ChatGPT or Claude about Sistrix data, you may not need the API at all.

Sistrix vs Semrush

Semrush is broader: 142 databases, daily rankings and dollar billing, but domain history back to 2012 needs Pro+ ($299) and each extra user costs $45–$100. Sistrix is the German standard and cheaper for teams (3 users on Plus). See Semrush alternatives.

German market (Sistrix vs XOVI, Seobility)

XOVI’s OVI is the closest index (weekly, Germany since 2009), from $99 a month. Seobility is cheaper ($69.90) with a free plan, but scores only your tracked keywords. Both are German companies and support German.

Searchmetrics, Ryte and enterprise suites
